Carter Hargrave has been the Chief Instructor at Hargrave Martial Arts for almost two decades. During this time the school changed its name from Combat Martial Arts to Hargrave Martial Arts.

The school specializes in self defense only classes for all ages. What is meant by self defense only is that no sport or tournament aspects are included in the program.
